Why not free 2 day shipping?

Why we don't offer free 2 day shipping?
It's that we don't like you, we know everyone would love to just walk to the front door and have their package there for them.  Some days I don't feel like cooking dinner either.
The reality is, sending next day or 2 day shipping comes at an environmental cost.
According to UPS: In the worst-case scenario, with one delivery per trip, the carbon emissions can be as much as 35 times greater than they would be for a fully-loaded delivery van.

There is a lot of data out there that you can can get pretty overwhelming as someone trying to do a green job as a consumer.  I've taken the approach that we can't be perfect, but we can do better, every day.  Every purchase is a choice, a choice on the product, how we are going to buy it, who we are going to buy it from, and how its going to get delivered.

I'm not saying don't select 2 day or overnight, sometimes you need it fast, for that trip, the birthday, or whatever it may be... but I am saying, don't get sucked into some big company saying that it should be the norm.

Remember the saying 'patience is a virtue'...  If you need it tomorrow, we'll get it to you 'Next Day shipping.  If you don't, we'll ship it Green Day shipping.

Green Day shipping for us is the US post and here's why.  They're coming to us anyway, they're coming to you anyway, nobody is going out of the way.  We give it priority but not quite Express.  We use a bag from recycled material that you can actually use again (it can be resealed) or you can recycle it.

Green Day is a mindset.  We're not perfect here, but we really are giving small efforts all over.

You're buying likely one of the most expensive and highest quality yoga rugs on the planet, but really... when you amortize the cost.. it's actually the cheapest.  Here's why:
  • To start with, you only need one; anyone doing hot yoga with a towel has multiple.  We encourage people to just buy one.
  • You don't need to wash it after every use, and it won't leak microplastics into the water supply.  Save water, save energy, save the marine life from micro plastics.
It's worth an extra day or 2 to get to you.

To answer the question you may have been thinking... yes, I shop Amazon (when I really need to which is rare), and no, I'm not a Prime member.  I missed it briefly, but my mindset changed.  Do I really need this tomorrow?  If I really do, I can get it, but 99% of the time, I don't.
